The group made their Japanese debut on 21 November 2018 under Pony Canyon with their first single album “What (Japanese Ver.)”. These released with three tracks, What (Japanese Ver.), Chase Me (Japanese Ver.), and I Miss You. Both What (Japanese Ver.) and Chase me (Japanese Ver.) are Japanese versions of lead singles of previous albums, while I Miss You is an original song in Japanese. The chosen title track of the single is What (Japanese Ver.), with a music video released by Pony Canyon for the song.

Second Japanese Single Album "Piri～Fue wo fuke"
On March 23, 2019 the group released their second Japanese single album “Piri～Fue wo fuke～ -Japanese ver.-“. It was released on March 13, 2019 the single contains three tracks, PIRI (Japanese Ver.), Good Night (Japanese Ver.) and Wonderland (Japanese Ver.) all tracks are Japanese versions of lead singles of previous albums. The chosen title track of the single is PIRI (Japanese Ver.), with a music video released by Pony Canyon for the song.

You and I - Japanese ver
“You and I -Japanese ver.-” was released on August 30, 2019. The single acted as a pre-release track for their first full-length Japanese album The Beginning of the End, which was released on September 11 and the tittle track “Breaking Out”.

The Beginning of the End is the first Japanese album and the first studio album by Dreamcatcher.
It includes previously released songs from Japanese releases PIRI (Japanese Ver.) and What (Japanese Ver.) as well as several new songs. Breaking Out serves as the album’s title track.
The physical version comes in three versions, including a regular edition that comes with a random trading card and two limited editions: Type A/The End and Type B/The Beginning. All three editions come with an event participation ticket.
You and I (Japanese Ver.) was pre-released on August 22, 2019.

third Japanese single Album " Endless Night "
"Endless Night" is the third Japanese single by Dreamcatcher. It was released on March 11, 2020. The physical release comes in three editions: a normal CD edition with a random trading card (1 of 7, first press only), and two limited CD+DVD editions.
First press editions includes a random event participation ticket (A, B, or C) and a special event ticket (Limited A & B only).
The single’s title track was produced by Japanese guitarist Kuboty (who also provided the guitar & bass parts), while the drum parts was provided by Katsuma of Japanese post-hardcore band Coldrain.

"Eclipse" is the 4th Japanese single by Dreamcatcher. This was set to released on March 24, 2021.

“Eclipse” is the fourth Japanese single released by Dreamcatcher on March 24th. Which will have two versions: a limited edition CD + DVD and a regular CD edition. Both editions come with a ticket to participate in the event. The title song was used as the opening theme for the second part of the King’s Raid Ishi wo Tsugu Monotachi anime.
